PARTICIPATE

Show up, and line up. It's easy. Anyone can participate!

The parade is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community as hundreds of residents and visitors flock to the streets of downtown Bellingham on Sunday, March 15th. The committee invites marching bands, neighborhood associations, schools, musical groups, dancers and green and local businesses to participate. Entry is free and open to all family-friendly, non-political groups.

The parade committee encourages floats, cars, and marching bands to register by using the signup form below. Everyone else can just show up at the staging area in your finest green  between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Place TBD- you will receive an email with details once the route is confirmed.

Registration required for cars, floats, musical groups (and horses!)

You are now registered to march in the Bellingham St. Patrick's Day Parade -- We'll see you on Sunday, March 15th!

2026 ROUTE INFORMATION

Description

We are still finalizing the route. We plan to return to the original route that starts at Ohio street and marches down Cornwall Ave! Keep an eye on the website and social media for more details.

Arrival time

Plan to arrive at the staging area between 11 & 11:30. It will be a sea of green! Just sit tight and wait for a Parade Committee Member. They will let you know where to stand, and when its your turn to march.

Parade Marchers' Parking

Vehicles that will be in the parade should go directly to the staging area.

Still have questions?

Where do I show up? Keep an eye on this space for the starting point and parade route!

What time do I show up? Plan to arrive between 11:00am and 11:30am to take your place in line.

Where should I park if I drove to the parade? Parking is available on nearby downtown streets and the Commercial Street Parade.

Where is my spot in line? Look for our St. Patrick's Day Committee Members who will be staged at the parking lot entrances. We will assemble you according to group type i.e. bikers, musical groups, bands etc. Committee members will direct you on where to go the day of, so don't worry about ‘where your spot in line is’, until you arrive

What if I have a trailer, vehicle, or float (example: trailer for my horses) that needs to be staged ahead of time at the Parade finish? Let us know ahead of time and we will work with you to make sure there is a plan for the start and ending of the parade.

What’s going on after the Parade? There will be several events happening downtown, including family friendly events at our title sponsor- Beach Cat South Paw (1010 C St Suite 107) and Uisce Irish Pub (1409 Cornwall Ave).
